Tim Geithner has become a national joke, and that means Saturday Night Live just has to lampoon him. The trouble with the plan laid out in this skit is that it might actually be Tim Geithner's plan. Great cold opening to this week's show.

Just for Fun: What Happens when Obama Gets Mad
A great skit with Barack Obama turning into the Rock Obama.
I love the impersonation of Rahm Emanuel

SNL - Start the Spoofs of the Obama Administration
SNL has actually been pretty good this year. The presidential campaign gave a lot of great material, and now they are getting ready to welcome the new administration. I really enjoyed this spoof, especially as he calls out Boehner and Lieberman.

McCain on Saturday Night Live: Weekend Edition
Seriously, what did the McCain Campaign hope to get out of last night's visit to Saturday Night Live? McCain's performance was fun, but I'm not sure John McCain isn't actually using the strategies that were spoofed in this skit.
I'm pretty sure they are using the "Double Maverick."

McCain on Saturday Night Live
John McCain did a guest appearence on Saturday Night Live last night, and while it was very funny, I have to wonder what the McCain campaign is thinking. Is this a last grasp at trying to remind people of the old McCain? Are they hoping for some of the young voters? Has McCain given up and he is now just having fun?
Who knows.

Keith Olbermann Gets the SNL Treatment
Ben Affleck did a great satire of Keith Olbermann last night. Ben tries to hold onto Keith's gravitas as he delivers his his righteous indignation. I reall laughed as Ben did the "Worst Person in The World" and he delivered a hilarious Special Comment against the president of the co-op to which he applied for an excemption.
I lost count how many resignations he called for, each funnier than the last.

Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live
Sarah Palin made her much anticipated appearence on Saturday Night Live, and it was funny. She did not say much, but she kept a smile even as SNL roasted her good. I have to give it up to SNL for continuing the jokes even with Governor Palin on-hand. Alec Baldwin again proves he's the best.
Watch it here:
Amy Poehler does a great rap about Palin with Sarah Palin sitting right there, again the Governor sits there and takes the jokes that were at her expense with good nature, but I was shocked she did not do much more than just sit during the skits. The moose is a great touch however.

You Knew It Had To Happen
Tina Fey was on Saturday Night Live last weekend in a very funny skit where she played the role she was born to play.
Now the question is whether Tina Fey will return to play Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live. LibertyAirBlog sincerly hopes so.
Of course falling into their typical whine, the McCain campaign sent out surrogate Carly Fiorina to decry Tina Fey and SNL as “sexist.” Fiorina argued that the skit was “totally superficial” (she does realize it was SNL right?), “disrespectful in the extreme” (again SNL), and “sexist.”
