McCain on Saturday Night Live: Weekend Edition

Seriously, what did the McCain Campaign hope to get out of last night's visit to Saturday Night Live? McCain's performance was fun, but I'm not sure John McCain isn't actually using the strategies that were spoofed in this skit.

I'm pretty sure they are using the "Double Maverick."

McCain on Saturday Night Live

John McCain did a guest appearence on Saturday Night Live last night, and while it was very funny, I have to wonder what the McCain campaign is thinking. Is this a last grasp at trying to remind people of the old McCain? Are they hoping for some of the young voters? Has McCain given up and he is now just having fun?

Who knows.

Keith Olbermann Gets the SNL Treatment

Ben Affleck did a great satire of Keith Olbermann last night. Ben tries to hold onto Keith's gravitas as he delivers his his righteous indignation. I reall laughed as Ben did the "Worst Person in The World" and he delivered a hilarious Special Comment against the president of the co-op to which he applied for an excemption.

I lost count how many resignations he called for, each funnier than the last.
