CBS called North Carolina for Kay Hagen. Everyone is blaming Dole's loss on backlash to her "there is no God" ad. Guess there is a God.

Jeanne Shaheen (D) defeated incumbent John Sununu (R) in New Hampshire.

Mississippi is too close to call between incumbent Republican Wicker against Democrat Musgrove.

Mark Warner wins Senate seat in Virginia.

My home state now has two Democratic Senators. Mark Warner should be a strong leader in the party, and will be a good Senator.

NBC also reports Senate races in Georgia (Chambiss v. Martin) and Kentucky (McConnell v. Lundsford) are too close to call right now.
